It's a fish. Sandwich.<br><br>A good friend of mine once told me that the miracle was not in the multiplication of the loaves and fish when the disciples fed the multitudes; rather the miracle began with Jesus' thanksgiving for the food as soon as the tiny bit of food showed up. No complaints, no wondering where the rest were, no asking why they couldn't gather more- just grabbed the baskets and threw down some thanks.<br><br>In this day and age, that would be a miracle indeed. "Do not despise small beginnings..."<br><br>Alot of the times our dreams start getting lived out in tiny tiny ways, and it's never good enough so we bail. This gross looking sandwich always reminded me that in the little he had, Jesus didn't see the lack but he saw the thanks to be had. Man, it's so stupid and overused, but I guess the simplicity works once it really hits you. Anyhow, a related quote from American designer/architect Charles Eames: "Choose your corner, pick away at it carefully, intensely and to the best of your ability and that way you might change the world." Everything's gotta start somewhere I suppose.<br><br><br><br>BY THE WAY, as I said 3 posts ago, there will be no shirts for a while.
